Bryson cup history started 2013.
•The Bryson cup Tournament came about when our Arklow Town football club coaches attended the Foyle cup in Derry in 2012 with one of our club teams and meet Steven Savage coach of the Belfast schools teams and Sunderland fc scout. Conversations happened and the Bryson cup was born.
•The Bryson cup is named after one of the Belfast schools secretaries Elizabeth Bryson when she received her MBE.
•It's aim is to promote friendship through football.
•The Belfast team is made up of the best players selected from around all the Belfast schools.
•The Arklow Town Fc team is made up of a selection of players from our u12 teams.
•Games in Belfast take place in Crusaders FC stadium. Games in the south take place at Arklow Town FC.
